Greatest war I have ever fought casualties wise, most you usually get are around 2-3 million. There around 1.5 million men died total on each side, not much really in one of my other saves where I played as Spain, unfortunately picture was lost 8.7 million men died on both sides and close to 400 ships were sunk. However if you have all the DLC you should get something unlocked in the early 20th century and or late 19th century called Great Wars they happen randomly and lead to PLENTY of casualties, here is an example of one.
